About VajNES
VajNES is a browser-based Nintendo Entertainment System emulator. VajNES is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Nintendo.
Your ROMs and other content
VajNES does not provide commercial game ROMs. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to use any ROM, save file, cheat data or other content that you load into VajNES. Do not use VajNES to infringe copyright or other rights.
Cloud saves
Google Drive cloud saves are optional. When you connect Google Drive, VajNES may create and update VajNES save-state files in your Drive using permissions you grant through Google. You remain in control of those files and can delete them or revoke VajNES access through your Google Account.
Cloud synchronization is provided as a convenience. You should keep independent backups of save data that is important to you. Network failures, browser changes, account changes or software defects may interrupt synchronization or make a save unavailable.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse VajNES, interfere with the service or its infrastructure, attempt unauthorized access to another person's data or account, distribute malicious code through the service, or use the service in violation of applicable law.
Third-party services
VajNES may integrate with third-party services such as Google Drive and may display third-party advertising. Those services are operated under their own terms and privacy policies. VajNES does not control third-party services and cannot guarantee their availability.
Availability and changes
VajNES may be updated, changed, suspended or discontinued at any time. Features, compatibility, supported mappers, cloud-save behavior and third-party integrations may change as development continues.
No warranty
VajNES is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, no guarantee is made that the emulator, save states, cloud synchronization or website will always be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every ROM, browser or device.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, VajNES and its contributors are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, including loss of save data. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Privacy
How VajNES handles browser data and optional Google Drive cloud-save data is described in the VajNES Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as VajNES changes. The current version will be published at this URL with an updated date.
